Garden




After a very cold, wet spring, our garden is finally growing.

This is thanks, in part, to the long awaited shift in weather, and thanks, in part, to Bruce's highly effective squirrel patrolling.

In it this year:
Beans - Black seeded blue lake, Royal burgundy,Black seeded yard long , Edamame butterbeans, others too, but I can't think of them.
Blackberries
Bok choi
Calabrese broccoli
Red cabbage
Cauliflower
Chard
Cucumber
Eggplant - Black beauty, Fairytale, Turkish & Rosa bianca
Garlic
Greens - Tatsoi, Mesclun, Purslane,
Herbs - basil, sage, mint, thai basil, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, lemon verbena, thyme
Kale
Lettuces - butterhead, Rouge d'hiver, Black seeded simpson, and other types
Okra
Onions
Pea shoots -- mmmm, pea shoots.
Peppers - Bolivian rainbow pepper, Habanero, Jalapeno, Lipstick, Poblano, Purira, Relleno, Serrano, and others.
Raspberries
Scallopini squash
Spinach
Tomatillo
Tomatoes - Green Zebra, Brandywine, Blondkopfchen, and German.
Zucchini
