B is for Betsy-boo

Yep long ago, I had a sister named Betsy. Who then became Beth, then Elisabeth, then Sky and now Bet. I like Bet. BUt I never was down with all the name changin. Betsy-boo, where are you? I know you are probably rolling your eyes. But look. I made a whole new posting. And B, it is for Betsy.

Is there another name that you have been called.
What are your alter-egos?
Names. Places. Dates.
Give em up!

Oh, it's all out of order. You have to stick with the B subjects, then commit to the C subject. But you can't add another B! We have to get this straight, ladees. Or maybe only I know the formula.

Ok, so the name thing. Yes, I've always had name issues. Betsy was too young when I entered 7th grade, and I moved to the more mature Beth. Only Mrs. Levy, our last high school art teacher extraordinaire, called me Elisabeth. And maybe Jesse sometimes. But Sky came about when I was travelling by myself, as an alias. Everyone seemed to take an alias, and I say, why not me, too? And when I met Jesse, I decided to be incognito and introduced myself as Sky, so it followed me as I followed him. Aimee always called me Bet, and it's easier to type. So that's the story there.

Now for the questions. I'm not sure what you mean:
What are my alter-egos? But I'll do my best to try ti answer.
I have plenty of alter-egos, but not sure how well they're defined. Trying hard to be all one person, all one ego. It's hard, being a gemini. There's definitely a division in me, from the hyper, balls-to-the-wall beth to the breathing, perspective-ridden contemplative beth. I prefer the slower beth, but the faster one is quite a ride.
How do you mean names/places/dates?

Betsy-boo came from Mom, as did Bets. Marian High Schoolers named me Pippi. Betsy Moo-Moo came from OJH. Or maybe from Aimee. Aimee did call me Bird, but someone didn't like that and asked her to stop. Maybe it was Dad. I don't remember.

What about you? What nicknames have you had?

For Meg, I know of Megoo (after Mr. Magoo), Meggie, Margaret Mary, Margaret, and that's all I know.

I don't know any of Aimee's nicknames.

So now you all are creating walls in this blog!
Chaos! I am the youngest and creating havoc..
If we kept to the "rules" of this blog we would have missed Beths name all together. Aimee, you were missed, A is for Aimee..right? But we didn't let you lay it all out for us. Who is Aimee? Where did aimee grow up? Why did she come to be such a blogger, and musician?
But nope.
In my humble opinion, your "rules" were meant to be broken.
And I am sorry, but as you all well know I was not able to figure out this blog-thang until we were well outta the B's and NOw I feel like we have the whole alphabet ahead of us...and I am already behind and I think of words that have some meaning and we can't miss them.
And I know I was jumping the gun on the C thing...so until you are all ready to deal with the C's just don't go there.
In fact, why don't we skip over the letter C.
Yea! Were rebels.
On the internet.
Blogging away!

I did look like sam eagle sometimes. i liked the nickname bird. i had crazy bird hair, all staticky on top and floating there.

yes, I have most definitely used meg the egg.

And we do have a C subject, and I will comment on it for sure. But not until I'm done with the Bs. Maybe Meg should post an A is for Aimee one, or maybe wait until N for her middle name.

no nicknames.

here, someone's taken to calling me amalie. and, at the restaurant, im eli sometimes. besides that, there was "the aim," which i considered a weird nickname, and now that there's "the donald," i scowl at it even more. and, of course, "aim." a college roomie would call me "aimela" from time to time, but she was just goofy like that. at, when the violents began, i was for some reason "the mack." sally was "animal," and anni was "franni." none of those stuck too well, tho. oh, and when i cocktail waitressed at this lounge named '2' in champaign, we made our own nametags, and i was often "trixie." just found that name tag this weekend. the crowd was way ugly. didn't wanna give any of em yer real name.
